techlesia is now Gravatar enabled

gravatar.gifFor those who view techlesia as a Web page, I have enabled Gravatar in the comment areas.  Now anyone with a G-rated Gravatar will have it displayed next to their comment.  I’m surprised that more of you computer nerds haven’t created one yet.  It’s a neat service that helps to see a little more personality from commenters.  Also, consider enabling your blog with Gravatars.  Then my face can be all across the ‘net.

  1. That’s great! I enabled Gravatars on my blog a month or two ago, but didn’t announce it. Interestingly, I think I’m the only one to have a gravatar show up so far…other commenters are strangely gravatar-less. It does seem odd for such a technologically-oriented crowd. I know there used to be performance issues with Gravatars, but not since Automattic (behind wordpress.com) bought them. And they’re going in the WordPress 2.5 core, so I imagine they’ll become more popular soon.
