Today’s tip for reducing expenditures is: When scheduling rooms, try to schedule a room in the same area of the building as another meeting that day. If we can keep some areas of the building unoccupied, we can dramatically reduce energy consumption from lighting and heating/air conditioning.
So, when you need to fill out a blue sheet for a night that we’re not in full operation, ask Becky to help you find a room near another meeting. This will also help us with security as we can keep exterior doors locked to other areas of the plant.
