The back/forward buttons keep disappearing, and I have to constantly 'Restore Default Set' and start over. It only takes a minute or so each time, but those minutes add up! Like you I plan to ride it out. I don't think I could return to IE. Every time I have to use it on someone's PC I feel like I've drifted back 5 years in history. I got the same problem.
