Rapid Change… in a Baptist church

Lately I have been spending more time on the communication half of my title, which has changed again. I’m now known as the Director of Communication and Technology. I like that it’s much shorter.
So, we’re in the midst of implementing a new strategic plan, and I’ve never seen us make so many decisions so rapidly. Plus, it’s evident that God is in the midst of all of them, guiding and directing. It’s pretty exciting stuff.
We’re doing a number of things, including changing worship format and times, rebranding and reimaging the church, overhauling the constitution and bylaws, removing almost every committee and restructuring the staff set-up.
This is big stuff, and I’m looking forward to seeing what God will do with and through all of it!
